As well as The Hill Station promoting and showcasing the work of local artists, it is also home for The Hill Trader, a small pop-up shop which sells locally produced crafts, cards, clothing and art produced by local residents.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Hill Trader brings local artists together who can support each other and promote each other’s goods through this shop. The costs of running a commercial shop would be too prohibitive for many local artists, but by coming together they can ‘pool’ their expertise, learn new skills in marketing and selling and gain a small income from the sales of their produce.

If you would like to be involved in either volunteering to run the shop on a shift (half a day a week) or produce arts and crafts, cards or home made clothing please contact  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
